Short-term Training Scheme
The institute provides free doorstep training in basic skills for self-employment activities that have the potential to generate supplementary income at the local level. Under the Short term basic Skill Training Scheme, the institute imparts training to approximately 6000 to 7,000 beneficiaries annually in 10 different trades across the state. During the training period, trainees receive a stipend of ₹4,500 per month along with a training certificate. Additionally, beneficiaries receive guidance on availing benefits from the Manav Kalyan Yojana Toolkit Scheme, Vajpayee Bankable Scheme, and Dattopant Thengadi Scheme, all of which are implemented by the Commissioner of Cottage and Rural Industries.

Scheme Eligibility
- Age: Beneficiaries aged between 18 to 45 years.
- Education: Illiterate to literate depending on trade.
- Income Limit: No income limit.
Assistance:
Trainees receive ₹4500 per month as stipend and a trade-specific certificate.
